Overview
Participants will receive a Rescue 3 International River Rescue certification. Students will receive instruction and have plenty of opportunities to practice skills in a real environment.
Topics Covered Include:
– Introduction to River Safety and Rescue Strategy – Throw Bag Techniques – Shallow Water Crossings – Entrapments and Strainers – Pinned Boats and Wraps – Rope Rescue Techniques/Zip Lines – Rescue Vests – Incident Command/Organization – Searches and Recoveries – River and Stream Crossings (Individual, Team, and Gear)
