Overview
The Big 8 is a Figure ‘8’ Descender with wings to create a locking knot. It is perfect for belaying the first climber with double ropes, while the large central opening allows you to overcome any knots on the ropes. It also features an eye lug to hold the rope in place and prevent untimely blocking. Working on ropes from 9 to 16 mm, it is available in aluminum alloy and stainless steel versions.
