The tactical ASSAULT SHIELD Type III is available in three NIJ 0108.01 tested models: Assault 1, Assault 2 and Assault 3. Designed for rifle protection and tight quarter entries, the Assault series of shields are lightweight and composed of high-performance polyethylene fiber. Defeating 5 impacts of the Type III M80 round, Assault shields are also special threat tested against the 7.62mm, 123 gr mild steel core.
