Overview
The LD ARMADILLO plate is an NIJ level IV ceramic hard armor plate that is rated to withstand an impressive variety of threats when used with an IIIa vest. The multi-curved shape is designed with the human body in mind, resulting in a superior fit. This hard armor plate is made with a curved design meant to form comfortably on the body under a vest or uniform pack. Composed of a monolithic ceramic material with HPPE backing, the plate is meant to last through multiple actionable circumstances.
